The prescribed application forms and the process for submission of the application is now relatively easy for individuals with an internet connection. Furthermore, the application can be made online on the website of NSDL e-Governance. The online application process for the aforementioned websites are as follows:
1. Firstly, log on to the website of NSDL e-Gov.
2. Submit application details online.
3. Accordingly, make online payment of prescribed application fee.
4. Following a successful submission of the online application, the website will generate an automatic receipt. You must save and print the acknowledgment receipt. Moreover, you must attach the recent photographs on the receipt. Also, the applicant must sign over the receipt in the space provided.

5. You must forward the receipt to NSDL e-Gov along with supporting documents for further processing.
